As Miles 2 1/2 mark is quickly approaching, it was time to say adios to his pacifiers. After several conversations over the summer to prepare Miles for this milestone, we took the plunge. After riding the official Thomas Train this summer, we were able to convince him that Thomas wanted his dee-dee's (i.e. pacifiers). Because that train comes to Portland once a year, we told Miles the Lake Oswego Trolley was good friends with Thomas. So off we went to pass off the dee-dee's so Thomas could have them. Wink, wink. It was a smooth transition. No tears. Only gifts from Thomas. And he is still a great sleeper. Praise the Lord!
